Benefits Consulting Services began as a small, disability-owned business with a mission to empower individuals with disabilities through accurate Benefits Planning and Work Incentive Planning Assistance (WIPA). Our company was built on lived experience, compassion, and a deep understanding of the challenges people with disabilities often face when pursuing greater independence and meaningful employment.

 

 

Co-Founder Robert "Bob" Bloxam is a person with cerebral palsy, is quadriplegic, and uses a wheelchair. As someone who has personally navigated the barriers and complexities surrounding disability benefits, employment, and independence, Bob brings profound firsthand knowledge and perspective to the work we do every day. Through Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation’s Self-Employment Program, Bob launched Benefits Consulting Services with the goal of helping others with disabilities confidently manage their benefits while pursuing their employment goals.

 

 

Bob partnered with Nikki DAgostino, a longtime Career Counselor and colleague with more than 20 years of experience in employment services, career counseling, nonprofit management, and benefits planning. Together, they combined professional expertise with personal passion to create a company dedicated to individualized guidance, education, and empowerment.
